The children celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by dressing up in green. The day started off with a liturgy run by Year 4, to celebrate St. Patrick and remember all the work that he did for the development of Catholic Schools.
At lunchtime the SRC and Captains put on lots of fun and games for the whole school to enjoy. They did a great job with everyone having a fantastic time. Children competed against each other in basketball shootouts, soccer games and mini golf. We had some up coming models participate in the green themed fashion parade as well as many great artists compete in the drawing competition. It was a great afternoon with music, prizes and even a green themed photo booth.
A big thank you to all of the parents who prepared the special treats. Everyone enjoyed getting into the spirit and eating their green jelly cups. A special mention goes to Isabella in Stage 3 who guessed exactly the right amount in the lolly guessing competition, with the correct answer of 284. The children showed great sportsmanship, cheering each other on in all activities, which was great to see. It was great to see all the children wearing green to celebrate, thank you parents.
