In the final week of school, we started off on Tuesday with our lovely End of School Year Mass led by some of the SRC members. The Mass was a great way to bring the community together for the final time in 2015.
A video montage of the school year showing the many memories made and shared with both teachers and students followed it. These included events such as the swimming carnival, excursions, Easter Hat parade, book week parade, Dance Fever and the walk-a-thon.
We were addressed by Mrs La Rocca who thanked the parents, students and teachers for such a wonderful and successful year it has been. She then invited staff members who will be leaving us to the front for a farewell and presented them with a gift of appreciation.
Our 2015 School Captains Angelina and Alex presented a beautiful speech about the Year 6’s time at our school and their experiences they have shared and enjoyed.
