Athletics carnival. The children were full of smiles and all had a great day.
The day started with a chill in the air and warmed up to be a beautiful day. We started our carnival with the 800m and it was fantastic to see so many students participating in this race. There were a lot of determined students competing in the different age groups.
While the primary students competed in their activities, infants grades held their own races and participated in a variety of novelty events. They all had fun and cheered on their friends and team mates.
As special thank you to Mrs Byrne for organising the event and overseeing the day, Marian College for supplying Year 9 students to help out on the day, the many parents who volunteered to help, cheered on the students and support the teachers and Mrs Byrne.
The day ended with out infamous students/staff/parent relay which is allows hotly contested. Congratulates to the parents for winning this year.
