Stage Three Visit Canberra

The Stage Three Canberra excursion proved to be fun and fact-filled adventure through our nation’s capital. Everyone had to get out of bed much earlier than a regular school day, so by the time we picked up Mrs La Rocca at Sutton Forest McDonald’s, we were hungry for a filling breakfast!

The places we visited included:

  • National Capital Exhibition
  • Museum of Australian Democracy
  • Electoral Education Centre
  • Parliament House
  • Belconnen Hoyts for the movie ‘Hundred-foot Journey’
  • Telstra Tower
  • Questacon
  • Australian War Memorial
  • National Gallery of Australia

We were blessed with beautiful sunshine on Monday, which was fantastic as we had lots of places to visit and explore. Everyone was very tired by the time we returned to the accommodation at Gold Creek Resort on Monday.

Unfortunately we had a cold, rainy day on Tuesday, but this didn’t stop us from learning new facts at the three places we visited.

Take a look at our slideshow which features photos from all of the places we visited:
