The support shown by the parents was amazing. They parked 5-10minutes away from the school and walked the rest of the way to the school gates. We even had families walk to school. Greeting the students and parents at the gates were some Year Six students, Miss Pepin and Miss D’Mello who handed out a special sticker for participating. Some parents downloaded the 'Walk Safely App'. Those parents registered and had their child's participation recorded on the national database.
