The novelty events made sure that we all got to have a swim, and the noodle races were still really competitive. We finished off the day with the 25m races and saw that lots of people who could have swum the full 50m length of the pool instead of the 25m.
On behalf of OLA we would first like to thank Mrs Byrne for all of the hard work that she put into making the carnival possible. We would also like to thank the wonderful parents who gave up their time to help make the Swimming Carnival a success. Thank you to all our parent volunteers you help was amazing and made the carnival run smoothly. A big thank you to the P and F for providing all our volunteers snacks and drinks throughout the day.
We would like to thank all of the House Captains for all of their hard work and time that they put into making the day a success, coming up with the awesome chants. Every house did an amazing job cheering on their team and they really showed excellent OLA spirit.

We would like to congratulate all of the students who participated and raced in the many organised events, including the Novelty races. All the students who raced showed great sportsmanship and did an amazing job!
Lastly, the sports captains would like to congratulate all of the students who broke records and all of the children who made it to the Hills Zone Carnival. We wish you all the best of luck!
