STEM at OLA is growing and and climbing in student engagement and activity. Select teachers have embraced the role to carry out a range of STEM activities each week. The program is targeting Stage 2 students. In this activity, students had the task of making the tallest tower using 32 toothpicks and a small stick of blutac.
'It is clear there are some budding structural engineers in this group," said teacher Kimberly Marchant. "The students are very excited and enthusiastic to be involved in these sessions. I, also, am learning so much along with them."
