Our school crest

Our school logo consists of the image of Mary and an angel, and our school motto, ‘Faith seeking understanding’. This stems from the knowledge that the members of our community are united in the same Catholic faith. It is our mission - as educators, parents, children, priest and parish - to grow into a deeper understanding of God’s saving plan for us, as we live and learn together.

Our history

Founded in 2010, Our Lady of the Angels Primary is a young school with big dreams.

The story of our school begins with the development of the new parish in Rouse Hill. The church officially opened in May 2007 under the leadership of Fr Warren Edwards.

Fr. Edwards recognized the need for a new school to provide Catholic education for the growing number of young families. After registering the school in 2009, a foundation class of 19 kindergarten students attended a neighbouring school before transferring to the new Rouse Hill site as the first Year 1 class.

Our Lady of the Angels Primary officially opened in February 2010 with 62 children, led by founding principal Eva La Rocca. We are grateful to Fr. Edwards, as well as parish and community members who were pioneers in laying the foundations for our school.

Today, our modern and fully equipped school enrols students in the Rouse Hill and Kellyville region.
